Position training

Six positions, Technician to Chief Engineer. Each position is a full curriculum of lecture modules with drawn figures, a 100-question bank and a 20-question knowledge check that has to be passed. Pass every module in a position and its certificate is issued.

Inside the training modules

Every track below is part of position training, delivered as modules with a full lecture, a 100-question bank, cited sources and a knowledge check. They sit in the positions that need them, at no extra cost.

• Boiler & Steam Plant (ST-1 to ST-10): hot-water boilers in older and converted data centres and steam plants in hospitals and central plants, including daily rounds and boiler checks and process safety in the boiler room
• MEP Reliability (MEP-1 to MEP-8): asset register, criticality, failure modes, maintenance strategy, the PM program, condition monitoring and KPIs, at Assistant Chief and Chief Engineer
• Trade Licensing & Codes (LC-1 to LC-10): licensing law and the codes HVAC/R and electrical licensees work under (training only, not state CE credit)
• Certification prep (CP-1 to CP-9): refrigerant handling (EPA Section 608), electrical safety qualified person, stationary engineer and boiler operator, with timed practice exams

Alpha 360 Certified Critical Facilities

The training ends in Alpha 360’s own certification, earned inside the platform in six levels that follow the position ladder: Technician (A360-CFT), Operator (A360-CFO), Specialist (A360-CFS), Lead (A360-CFL), Assistant Chief Engineer (A360-CFAC) and Chief Engineer (A360-CFCE).

• Every required module for the position complete, each knowledge check at 100%
• The previous level held
• Every certificate is stored in the Alpha 360 register with a control number that employers can check on the verify page
• Optional: the Virtual Bench practical. The certificate reads “Completed with the Virtual Bench practical” or “Completed without the Virtual Bench practical”
• The level’s certification exam: 100 questions from the position’s modules, 3 hours, 85% to pass, timed

One exam attempt a year is included; retakes $49. Valid two years. A training credential issued by Alpha 360 LLC: not a state licence, and not accredited by a third party. It confirms the training was completed and the exam passed. It is not a site qualification: your employer decides who is qualified to work on its equipment.
